Great set man. Here is a request for specs. Although you said not to ask abou the cymbals, i think its kinda funny because ive never seen a guy use a small china instead of a ride.

Very cool finish on that kit. I would assume you are building your kit up. Good start...now go get some cymbals and a hi-hat. Good luck.

Odd set up there mate, please tell the story of the cymbals, you cant post something that oddball here and not explain it, thats like, a rabi partying with hitler.

nice kit.

although your bizzaro cymbal selection almost makes one completely overlook what has to be the most uncomfortable-looking drum throne on the planet.

fine I'll tell the story, but first specs and thanks all.

BD- 24x18 virgin
Rack tom- 14x10.
Floor tom-16x16.
floor tom-18x16.
Main snare- Pork Pie Piglite-14x5.5
Aux. snare- 14x8

and the cymbal selection i'm gonna copy from another forum.

well. I have had an electric kit for about a year. Until recently once I got a job, I was very hard to come by money, so I bought those cymbals to help out with the e-kit with some x-mas money. well I recently got into a band and they have an acoustic kit I could play, but just needed a snare, and has cymbals, or that's what they told me, hence the porkpie acrylic snare. then I play it and relaize that the drums are more shity than the cymbals they had on it. I was browsing ebay and found this thing at $550 and bid on it and won. Now I need to suffer through the crappy cymbals until I can make enough money to buy my truck in 6 months and the cymbals themselves. i just don't have the cash to get cymbals now.. Where the hat's normally go i have changed that setup BTW, I have some splash hats that serve the purpose for home practice, I have moved the china off to the right and will be getting a bell that i can use for a ride for x-mas (parents are too cheap to buy me any decent cymbals for x-mas and i'm fine with it).

and forgot, the stool of a throne is actually quite comfy and at the correct height, but will eventually be replaced by a roc-n-soc throne

For the comments on complicated, it is actually really comfortable for me and i find myself doing much more creative fills then a standard 2 up 1 down set up.

as for building up the kit, the drums are gonna stay the same except for some Aquarian texture coated heads for all the toms and aux snare, and a new head for the BD. Cymbals and hardware i have written up and here it is.

Meinl 13" Amun Soundwave Hats
Sabian 13” HHX Groove hats
Sabian 14" AA Sizzle Hats
Sabian 20” AAX Dry Ride
Meinl 20" Bryzane Dark Ride
Sabian 18” AAX Dark Crash
Sabian 18” HHX Power Crash
Meinl 18" Classics Crash-heavy
Sabian 20" AAmetalX China
Meinl 8" Classics Low bell

Hardware
Yamaha Flying Dragon Direct drive Single Bass Pedal
Yamaha HS1100 Hi-Hat Stand
2xYamaha WHS860 Romote Hi-Hat, Long Cable
7xYamaha CS655 Boom Cymbal Stand
Roc-N-Soc Throne/Red

Percussion
LP granite blocks w/mount
Meinl Steel Bell Brass 6.25" Cowbel
LP Bar Chimes

Sticks-Promark 747 nylon Jap. White Oak
