Default My Kit, Starclassic Performer EFX

My Name is Evan Douglas, and I am 14 years old. I have been playing drums
for about 3 years now, and it has become my life.

I play along with any song that I enjoy, which is just about evyerthing.
That could be from bluegrass to metal.

My favorite drummers and biggest influences are Johnny Rabb, Benny Greb, and
Jojo Mayer.

My Kit:
Tama Starclassic Performer EFX 5-Piece Fusion (Liquid Metal)
22x18 Kick
14x14 floor tom
12x9 tom
10x8 tom
14x5.5 snare

My Cymbals:
Paiste 2002 17" thin crash
Paiste 2002 16" crash
Paiste 2002 10" splash
Zildjian Avedis 20" medium Ride
Zildjian Avedis 10" splash

I absolutely love that finish. Nice and simple set-up, not too crowded. Just right.

Do you play traditional grip?

Nice cymbals, too.

I try to play equally each way, I don't know why, I just like to be strong both ways

That is a really sharp looking kit, and that finish really pops!

Nice Paiste 2002s? How do you like them?

I have several and find them to be crisper and better defined than many other brands.

I love them. I picked the 16 inch crash out of about 30 crash cymbals in the cymbal room at guitar center, just sounded the best I think. I got the 17 about a month ago, I wasn't so sure at first, but its really grown on me

Its gotta be something with the age, i just turned 15 and im obsessed with my drums. But I started not even 2 years ago, this february will be 2 years. Any way I put in a good hour and a half on my set and another half hour on my drum pad if not, more. Being in a garage band motivates me pretty much and drumline does a whole lot.
That kit is sweet man love those pro-line cymbals (besides ZBT of course), wish I could afford me some. I am stuck with ZBT's all around, but hey its not the drums (cymbals in this case) its the drummer.

That's a nice kit, I'm Surprised that it's a 22x14" kick drum, I've never seen that before, but I've been playing for only 2 and some years so I haven't seen alot ;)

There isn't a 22x14 kick in the Performer series. Unless he ordered it individually, it's an 18x22.

That bass drum is either a 16 or an 18" depth. You don't see too many 14" anymore.
Beautiful kit, enjoy! I had a set of Starclassics before I got my Ludwigs *sniff sniff*. I
miss that kit from time to time.
