Holy Crap!! I had a case (an actual old bass drum case- that I got free with other crap), looked like that same material, except slightly better condition. I threw it away, as it was junk. Now ya tell me I coulda gotten maybe 125 for it? (ok, well I coulda listed on CL for 125 anyway).

They're also in Japan, so maybe that has something to do with it?

Isn’t this a little too absurd for a kit worth $900 new?

This type of thing just has to be a joke, I see no other reason why anyone would place this on craigs-list, especially for a price that is close to what one would pay new with free delivery.

Perhaps this is somekind of new game. "How many responses can they rack up."

This guy has been trying to get $2500 for his Granstars with "airplane cases" for a few years now. He'll run the ad for a while and then take it down, put it back up again, etc.

Considering there's $3000 worth of duct tape on the heads, the price seems about right.

This snare has been on and off of CL for a couple of years now.
Priced at $503 bucks this past December it is now $729.
So if it doesn't sell ,raise the price even more?

Last one on Reverb sold for $300.

Not as crazy as some I've seen on this thread, but I just bought a "like new" Ludwig Accent set with (albeit crappy) cymbals for $200.

I think this guy must sell used cars down at the buy here/ pay here store or something...

Here is a used Cat Club for 3x the price of a new one. I enjoy the bogus story behind it as well.

Looks like it was removed. $1200 plus shipping

Sorry a little late to the party line. Early in February late one weeknight, I was casually looking it the instruments section of Craigslist and lo behold, a blue vista octa plus with 9 cymbals priced at $3,500(the post was about 2 weeks old) so Immediately called and spoke to a man who said he still had the drums for sale and I could go and take a look. The drums were in Canon City colorado about 30 miles of pueblo west, and i made arrangements to see them the next day right after work. When I called the next morning about 10 a.m. to confirm arrangement the lady I spoke to nonchalantly said she sold the drums “last night”. I was a crushed 35 year old - I couldn’t sleep the night leading up just thinking about the kit I was about to snag... however this lead me to do more research and I ended up finding a Ruby vista in a power factory config. I watched this one for a bit and snagged about a week later as I had to drive to St. Louis to pick up at local music store. Nonetheless I am very happy as I found out Ruby’s are harder to come by than clear, amber, tequila, and blue acrylics. Just last night 5.17.18 I won a bid for a 16 floor tom. So I am building my way to an octa plus 2 (I am calling it that due to having two on the floor now - 16” and 18”). All I need is another bass and the 6” and 8” if any one has for sale😁

Interesting, never seen or heard of this brand. Seems to be a copy of the Staccato kit style. No port needed on the bass drum reso though.

Looks like mahogany with maple re-rings. Can't really make out the lugs but they could be Ludwig. The T-rods and claws certainly aren't Ludwig.

Yes, those infamous "Symbols" are back on the market for sale.

This time, 5 top quality Symbols (1 hi-hat pair) are being offered for a mere $450, including the one-of-a-kind "B-8 Rid" Symbol.

Don't worry- if you don't like 'em, they're easily re-sellable on Craigslist to other choosy drummers who need quality symbols at a great price.

Bonus- If you act now, we'll throw in 3 hard-to-find Glitter Stars at no extra cost.

$3,750 for a thrown together collection of gold sparkle Ludwigs described as 1950-1960s Beatle-era drums in champagne sparkle.

https://lascruces.craigslist.org/msg...677029888.html

There's no vent or badge on the kick, so I'm guessing it's a shoddy re-wrap. It also has after-market hoops. One of the 13x9s is a 6-ply with a Monroe badge. The floor tom is a B/O badge missing half its hardware.

I wonder how long until they learn the best offer they can expect should be $200.
