Default Grady Tate Dies at 85

We lost another great one. I didn't realize that in addition to all of his great drumming (including 6 years in the tonight show band and, with Steve Gadd, Simon & Garfunkel's 1981 Central Park Reunion Concert) Grady sang on the Schoolhouse Rock cartoons I used to watch as a kid during Saturday morning cartoons!

RIP Mr. Tate.

School House Rock! Wow. I remember "Im just a bill on capital hill" or was that Electric Company....all kind of a blur. Rest in peace

RIP. I remember him doing a duet with the jazz singer Mark Murphy on one of his albums. Awful of me, but I can't remember if he drummed on that particular album.
