Great article, especially when referring to dynamics. Young drummers, especially the metal heads just play fast and loud. Then again their vocalists lyrics aren't very subtle either.
I have a pretty loud stereo in my studio Glen Miller, The Dorseys, Goodman. .and what a hoot playing Louis Prima.
