Default Updating my CD music hardware

Hi all,

Bit out of date here and need help to update my studio music listening.

I would like to upgrade my CD music for play along and tutorials.

My current set up was purchased from Crutchfields 15 years ago:
Technics SAEX110 receiver, JVC XL-MC334 CD changer. Acoustic Research AR-15 speakers, and Bose 301 speakers, like to keep both sets of speakers.

Instead of the CD player I would like to play the music off my Mac Book Pro from itunes lossless format (if this is the best way?), keeping my speakers and using my Ultraphones while playing.

Eventually I will start setting up for recording through the Mac Book pro so I want to keep that in mind, but for now I need to update my system.

I know there are optical cables that with adapter go to RCA, and there is HDMI, but no HDMI on my old receiver.

Thank you for the help.
