Default Help finding Jojo Mayer video

Hi,

I was wondering if any one knows the video I am thinking of and has a link to it please?

Its a very old video of Jojo explaining the correct way to play cymbals and the readons for not hitting them too hard, i.e. they sound best with a medium hit and the fact that it also is a waste of energy for your body.

He is playing a kind of skank type beat on the hi-hat and what might be a blast-beat with double strokes?

Anyone know the one I am talking about?

AHA!

After what seemed like hours searching;

So.......good! And solid advice. I am definitely an energy waster :-)

Does he ever play with a death metal band? His blast beat is beautiful. And I still cant figure out if he is putting double strokes in there at around 40 seconds?

Such a great video and a really tremendous piece of advice. I sent it to all of my drummer buddies, too.
