Default Re: How to deal with getting kicked out of a band

I got kicked out of a band once because my burping was pissing off the guitar player.

I've never been kicked out either, but I've had this happen before as well. I was in this kinda Dave Matthews/John Mayer type funky rock groove type band. The guitarist started getting into experimental music and wanted to go that direction, and the singer went along with it. I just wasn't in to things at all anymore and after a while I ended up leaving. Turns out the day I announced I was leaving another member decided they were leaving as well. They ended up filling our spots, but never got back to the level we were at before we left and eventually called it quits.
