Default Just a personal pet peeve, but seriously......

Why so so many people, shops list drum sizes with depth first, then diameter? I know both are important, but diameter should really come first. Is it just me? Does this bother anyone else? Is there an industry standard somewhere I'm not pricy to? A super secret cool kids rule. Seriously, diameter is a much more interesting statistic on a drum than depth..... right?

There's no industry standard.

What you see is regional standards that apply to anything, not just drums, standards that today are not completely regional anymore.

I'm Norwegian. I drive on the right side of the road, toilet spins to the right when I flush it, same way I'd turn a screw to tighten it and diameter first is and has always been the standard. Other places it might be different.
