Default Advice

Literally any drum-related advice you have or can think of.
Be creative, and try not to say what someone already did please!
Thanks

Main piece of advice: Practice your butt off...

Other than that, what Gruntersdad said. There is a huge amount of advice here from technique to gear. It's an amazing resource.

Gruntersdad is right. You should search a topic on the type of advice that you're looking for, say paradiddle. If that doesn't answer your question, then make a post of what kind of advice you're looking for. Just asking for advice is too broad of a question. Be specific, like, I'm looking for advice on how to play a paradiddle.

Advice? Your time is the most important thing. If a drummer's time sucks, that drummer's drumming sucks.

I agree, your time is the most important thing--guard it wisely and don't waste it...

Angle the kick drum up and don't let the whole drum and front rim rest on the floor. This has improved the sound of every kick I've gotten my hands on.
