Default karaoke version tracks

I use karaoke version site for backing tracks for my teaching, you can keep the vocal and mute the drums.I get students to play to the tracks and check out the drummers on the original.Check out this Al Jarreau track (Jeff Porcaro played on the original ). http://fandalism.com/tonicannelli/d5Zn

Default Re: karaoke version tracks

I used to use karaoke version a lot.

It's nice to be able to lower the drum track (or any other, for that matter) relative to everything else when learning a new song. I found it very helpful because by lowering the drums way down in the mix, I couldn't hear them while I was playing along, but if I was lost, I could still hear them to fin my way.

For picking out the drums part, do the opposite - lower everything else and let the drums come through loud and proud.
