Ooh, I gotta buy this drumless track again. Can't believe I lost the file.

Toms sounded typical of a handheld recorder in that kind of room IMO.

Nice! I had no idea Victor from the Underworld movies played drums ;)

What color are your B/Bs? Is that the cloud mist look? And did you get a matching snare?

Solid groove, but I think a little more dynamic changes would've been cool. Like when you're playing the head of the tune, come down a bit, then when you go into the chorus let loose, that kind of Gadd "hills and valleys" approach. But great grooving overall!

What Weckl track is that, anyway? I only have his Contemporary Drummer +1 book from the 80s.

Oh, I wasn't sure if that was your video, I got thrown by the forum name. Nice grooving on it, it was certainly an interpretation of the part and not just verbatim recital.

Bo, it's "Get To It", which Weckl released as a single on his website with plenty of supplementary stuff (including a playalong drumless track). He's released several other songs that way as well.
