Default The Cavern Club Liverpool v The Hard Rock Cafe

Liverpool’s legendary Cavern Club is going to court in a bid to end a 20-year David and Goliath row over who is entitled to own the rights to its name – ‘the place where it all began’ or a Hard Rock cafe in Boston, Massachusetts, where Brian Epstein didn’t discover The Beatles.

Unless the "Cavern Club" is registered international trademark,...good luck with that.Although I believe they should retain their name, the lawyers will win the day.BTW,the original Hard Rock Cafe, was founded in London, not Boston.

My friend Adrian Barber designed the first house PA system for the Cavern Club.

I hope it was better than the pile of junk in the new club :( Difficult space to get right though.

The new Cavern Club (I think its actually across the road from where the original was) sucks. Its so tacky. To be true to the Beatles it should put on budding new bands not old men doing Beatles tributes.

Still, Hard Rock sucks more. Here's hoping they back down
