Default Fiberskyn on Acrylic?

Has it been done? Can it be done? Thoughts on the sound? I'm curious.

Satisfy your curiosity mate. Never be afraid to experiment with the sound of your own drums. For the cost of a single head, you'll soon have the answer.

If you have the $ then give it a try. I have set of the Bonham re-issue Amber Vistas. I play Clear Emps over Clear Ambassadors on all toms. Kick is a clear PS3 with a clear Ambassador reso. Sometimes, I go with Clear Pins over Ambassadors.

A fiberskyn head isn't cheap. I love the sound of the coated heads on the toms. I don't know, maybe ill try it out.
