Default Evans Equivalent to Remo Snare Head

As the title suggests, I'm looking for the equivalent of the Remo Emperor X in the Evans line. I was thinking it would be the Power Center, but just thought I'd check here to be sure. I know the Emperor is equivalent to the G2, so I was hoping Evans would have some sort of "G2 Dot" snare but they unfortunately don't. Thanks!

There are two very similar Evans heads. The first is the EC Reverse Dot already mentioned: one 7mil ply, one 10mil ply, and a dot (the Emperor X is actually two 10mil plies as opposed to regular Emperors which are two 7mil plies, plus it has the dot). The new Heavyweight snare batter released this year is theoretically identical to the EX with two 10mil plies and a dot, though Evans' tendencies imply that their version will be perhaps a subtle bit drier and brighter.

The new Evans Heavyweight is the closest to an EmperorX. Two 10mil plies with a reverse dot.

The new Heavyweight snare batter is what you're looking for. Though it is ultra thick, it's incredibly responsive at all dynamics (something you won't find with another head this thick). Here's the detail page: http://evansdrumheads.com/EvProductD...me=Heavyweight

Cheers!
