Default 1976-77 Ludwig Big Beats

Finally finished restoring my dad's old 1970's Ludwig Big Beat kit. The silver sparkle wrap is original. It was painted over in the 1980's. The wrap is surprisingly in great condition. New heads (Remo Emperors on top, Ambassadors on bottom)... Couldn't be happier!

The wrap looks great - you did a nice job cleaning it up. Great looking kit, and I know it sounds good, too. Perfect drumhead choices you made and I love the look of that double tom holder. Thanks for sharing those pics and have fun with your 'new' kit.

This kit has been my dream for years in the seventies! I'm a little jealous, but I am happy for you!

Silver sparkle is probably overall classiest wrap of all time. I'd say white marine pearl if not for the unpredictable yellowing factor. Congrats. You did dad proud.
