Default Another cracked cymbal, brought back from the dead!

This cymbal belongs to a customer of mine. It had a bout 6 inches of crack around the bell. This is the first time I attempted this particular method of only welding the ends and center to avoid to much warping with tig welding really long cracks, turned out awesome and more importantly my customer thinks so too! I removed the remaining cracked portion while stabilizing the damage with 3 solid welds. check the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JfmXn...1XCF4CVvetjNXA

Well it sounds like a clangy rock cymbal, so I'd say you did a good job.

All kidding aside, nice work. I've seen a load of your other reparations, and I gotta hand it to you; impressive work, as usual.
