Default My new 80s Tama Superstar!

Just bought a new Tama Superstar Drum Set from the early 80s

Here some Pics:











Drums: Tama Superstar in Mahogany Finish
8",10",12",13",14",15" Concert Toms
16" Floor Tom
22" Bass Drum
14"x 8" Snare in Custom Finish

Cymbals(From Left to Right):
Zildjian K 10" Splash
Zildjian 14" New Beat Hi Hats (love them)
Zildjian 16" A Crash/Ride
Stack with 14" Wuhan China and cracked Meinl Headliner on top
Zildjian 12" A Splash
Zildjian Hollow Label A 18" Crash
Zildjian A Custom 20" Ping Ride
Zildjian Hollow Label A 16" Crash/Ride
Stagg 6" Bell flipped over and stacked on Crash
Stagg DH 11" Splash
Wuhan 14" China

Wow, that's a FAT kit you have there ;-)
How much did you pay for this impressive shellset?

I always feel a bit intimidated when I see that many toms and if they're placed in an additional row. Are they easily accessible from the normal sitting position? I can't really imagine...

Hey Man!

The Shellset probably adds up to about 1000$ as I brought it over to Austria from the US ;)

I originally had the 2 small Toms to the left of my Hi Hat, but I found it to hard to reach while doing fast rolls, so I moved them to the top where they're much easier to reach

Congratulations! I used to droll over those big Tama kits from the 70s when I first saw Billy Cobham back in the day. Concert toms are BACK!
