Default Sleeved Washers - for your tension rods

Check out http://sleevedwashers.com it's what you think it is - a nylon washer with a sleev on it that goes on your tuning rods. It really doe what it claims - prevents detuning or "backing" out and makes tuning smoother. I noticed it immdiately when tuning the drum back after installing. I prevents metal-to-metal contact and ring, and for me , the biggest gain was not having to tune every single show or session. I hit pretty hard so this was a real timesaver. I picked up a bag of 100 of them for $24 in NYC (Steve Maxwell). They come in many colors, if you want to accent you drums. I went with clear/white.

It's money well spent.

I have some of these in Black, and the White. They're pretty cool, I like them.

I've used them on all of my snares for the last year or so........................didn't get them from that specific website, but they seem to work well with minimizing metal on metal contact.
