Default Hybrid kit and Roland vs Gibraltar rack system

I'm building a hybrid kit (4 piece acoustic with Roland TD-15KV electronic) and was going to mount everything on a Gibraltar rack but musiciansfriend.com emailed me to say that Gibraltar won't ship to Canada. So I was wondering if I might get away with mounting the two drums and a couple of cymbals on the rack that comes with the Roland TD-15KV, the MDS-9V. I'm guessing that either: a. there won't be enough room or b. the rack won't be durable enough.

If that doesn't work, are there any other suggestions? I want a rack that I can expand and reduce in size so Pearl is out and Dixon is crap. And I don't think the Roland clamps will work on the Yamaha hex rack.

Has anyone mounted acoustic drums on a roland rack? Anyone have any suggestions for mounting v-pads and acoustic drums together? Have any Canadians been able to get Gibraltar racks?

So I found a way to get a new Gibraltar rack that unfortunately won't be available to other Canadians with the same problem as me. It's going to be several months, but I'll post my thoughs on mounting a hybrid kit on this rack system.

Are there no Gibraltar dealers close to where you live?

I'm surprised they don't ship to Canada. They ship Gretsch and they're owned by the same company. Weird.

You won't get away. There are laws against doing that kind of thing.

There are Gibraltar dealers (Long and McQuade), but it seems like they only sell parts (cymbal pads, lug nuts etc), not rack systems. I was hoping another Canadian could point me to a vendor that definitely would ship it up here.

And yes, I'm pretty sure I'd be violating some law of physics if I tried to mount a five piece electronic kit and a four piece acoustic one on a roland rack. I was just wondering if anyone else had tried it first. :P
