Default Gary McCracken

I am surprised that this guy has slipped under the wire. He is an amazing drummer who was an integral part of the great Canadian band Max Webster. He has a very smooth and effortless style, and was very creative with the max Webster tunes whilst making them flowing and musical. He seems to be still playing today and very well too.
This is quite a nice solo although the video is bad and out of sync, but it give an idea of his very competent chops.

I got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell!

Oh, Gary! I am currently taking drum lessons from him! You're right, it is hard to believe that he's slipped under the wire, but he's such a great teacher and just a genuinely a really good guy.

I wonder if he named his son Phil.......?
It's better to sit in silence and be thought a fool, than open ones mouth and remove all doubt..
