I remember him from Mancini 67 (I think). He had some very unusual ideas which I have never heard since....

I remember having this record of his way back http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oy9VFztQcvE and just staring at the cover of him behind his double bass kit...

All I remember is loving it.

My first drum teacher asked me, "Have you heard Jack Sperling? He eats, drinks and breaths drums!"
