Default Gone Gretsch

Hi Guys and girls
Just got this Gretsch Brooklyn USA made "14x"6 nickel over brass snare drum.
Swapped out the stock heads for an Evans Genera dry batter and Hazy 300 snare side. Fitted a Puresound Pro steel snare wire.
Very pleased with the result.

Welcome to the Gretschtastic family. A new word I coined this morning on the Gretsch twitter site. Love the Brooklyn Family. Is that a 14 x 6.5?

Indeed it is. To be honest I had never considered Gretsch, though of course their reputation precedes them. A very happy day for me.
