Default Barry Kerch

Shinedown Drummer Barry Kerch isn't on this fourm as a drummer and he should be.

Too all who don't know this.

Barry Kerch of the Band Shinedown has recently left Pearl drum company as of 2013 and switched to DDrum.

Barry Kerch will be playing a DDrum Paladin Maple Kit in Inca Gold Sparkle

No disrespect to DDrum, I know they've had some ups and downs in the recent past, both internally and with former artists...

But what upsets me was his move away from Pearl - man, I LOVED the sounds of his Pearls on all the records!!! So deep and thunderous.

Strange setup, does he really have that big bass drum all the way over to the side?

He sure does man. It even has a modified double pedal on the 26x15 kick so Barry can play it double pedal

Interesting, must admit I think I've only ever heard one shinedown track, his drumming was pretty solid.

Sounds like you know the guy?

Yes I do know him. Barry is a great guy. I met him once by winning a private meet an greet with just him an my mom went with me an exchanged emails with Barry's wife and they stay in touch with us and Barry sees me at shows when he can but I haven't got to tour his drum kit up close yet an that's the one thing I'm hoping he'll do for me this time when they play glen falls on February 23rd
