the best budget brand I know is "used". Try Craigslist, or your local stores. You may get a great pedal for a budget price.

What's your budget? And is price why you chose those two? Do you have a music store near you to try out different pedals?

I strongly recommend you go and try out pedals because they're like shoes. Your foot has to like it more than your wallet.

Im usimg the p710 as s lender while my trick dominators are out on warranty. They are not half bad for the price, although i personally would save up for a better pedal or check ebay.

less than 250 something like that. theres not many music stores around my area..and dont have variety of pedals there. i prefer the 710 because of that build and design, look very well built and would last long time.

I bagged a nice single-chain Yamaha pedal from Craigslist for twenty bucks. It's kind of old, but works beautifully.

I think if you are patient and diligent you can do well in the used market thereby freeing up funds for another (used) cymbal or piece of hardware.

Good luck!

Go out and try a few. Bo Eder is absolutely right.

At the moment, the pedal that most suits me is actually a low-end Yamaha strap-driven model. The total cost on eBay (like new) was around 20. If we're talking ultra low-budget, you can do a lot worse than Yamaha.
