Default Any opinions on Remo Suede Ambassadors?

Has anyone had any experience with them? From the little bit of searching I have done it seems that they are a good medium between coated and clear...

I keep looking for good sounding demonstrations of Remo Suede Ambassadors on youtube but it's mostly just 13 year old metal heads playing the black ones. I'm looking to get the white remo suede ambassadors (not that it makes a difference in sound but they do seem to be alot harder to find than the black)

I have a brich kit.. 10, 12, 16 and 14.. I tune pretty much mid range... not too high or low. Thinking it will be pretty nice.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

We had them on the practice kit at my college. The coating did not last very long. It peeled off in the center within about 2 weeks of fairly heavy use.
