Default foot bells/cymbals for cajon playing

Anyone have a recommendation for somehting to put on my foot (or wrap around ankle) to keep time when I play cajon? I know Meinl sells a foot tambourine, but I keep time with my foot heal up/toes down so it would not work well. Thanks in advance.

I use an LP Gajate Bracket with a spare bass pedal and a tambourine.
