Default SPDSX sampling problem - no input register

Im in basic samplling, I'm using a microphone, I can hear my voice through the system however L R overload indicators show no signal. What could be doing this, I can't manually sample anything (both with mic or ipod) Help Please!

I don't have ny unit handy or I'd see what's up, but you might ask over at vdrums.com where the major e-drum folks hang out.

Will do, thanks. I've been at it for about 3 hours. I'm only using the L/Mono input but that shouldn't be an issue should it?

I don't use my pad for sampling, but I would imagine the input sounds right. The fact that you can hear the input but not see it is puzzling. Good luck with the vdrums.com crew, they know their stuff over there.

Just figured it out I needed to adjust the SYSTEM audio in and out, it set to headphones only.
