Default Remote hi hat stand

Hey everyone. 1st time posting here.

I'm looking to set up a remote hi hat. I'm looking at a stand by griffin for $120 (listed on amazon with good reviews) mainly because this is for just me no studio or professional playing just hobby. It comes with a 6ft cable and I'm not sure if the cable will be long enough for smooth play. How difficult is it to replace the cable if need be? Just research before I invest.

Thanks!

Never heard of that brand before, and the price seems a little low. The reviews also seem a little dodgy to me. Having said all that, 6 feet is a typical remote cable length. I would imagine that not being a major brand, the cable would be nigh impossible to find separately. Even for major brands, changing out cables can be a pretty daunting task, from what I hear.

If you do decide to get it, I would be interested to hear from you what the quality is.

I definitely will. Since 6ft is typical length will that be good enough for operating the pedal with my left foot while setting the hi hat on the right? I have a standard 5pc tama rocks tar set.
