Default Help with kit for begginer

I know you guys are tired of these kinds of questions but these kind of equipements are expensive and you always want the best for your $$$.

So mainly, space is an issue for me since i leave in a 40mē,
Since i'm totally a begginer i'm not looking for anything top,
I've being doing some research and I came across to 2 kits:

1. Roland HD-3 that besides it's toy look, seems solid and does the job and it's very very compact (In France is around 700€)

2. Yamaha DTX400K (Apparently it's new), it's a little bit bigger but people always say good thing about Yamaha but could not find any review about it(In France is around 450€)

The main thing is that even thought Yamaha is a little bit bigger it's 250€ and I saw as well that Roland is a very good brand and HD-3 has some good features like choke and it's more compact, so i'm kind of lost rather Roland worth the 250€ more or Yamaha is at the same level, or even if you guys have a better sugestion to make.

Thanks in advance
