Default Axis pedals?

Hey guys, im wondering about axis pedals. ive heard numerous people say it almost forces you to go faster. that and there NOT for everyone.

I'd have to agree with what you've read already. I bought an Axis double pedal because I joined a thrash band and wanted the speed, after many years of using a chain drive. Many people also complain that they lack power. It's a half truth, the reason people complain about this is because the Axis provides almost no momentum of its own, YOU have to provide all the power.

You also have to learn how to control them as they are quick. It isn't just Axis its direct drive pedals in general. It took me many months to get use to them properly, but basically I had to learn to double bass all over again. Some people take to them straight away, however I didn't.

The best advice I can give is try before you buy.

Yeah. The more I practice the more I have to repractice being able to hammer any tempo first time, just want to go faster... Being said I do practice to fatigue in my left leg a lot and I think that has tons to do with it.
