Default Best Kick Pad For Use With Double Bass On a Budget?

I am in a living situation now where I can no longer use my acoustic kit to practice double bass, and must move over to an E-kit, but the problem is now this: On my current E-kit, the kick pad does not accommodate a double kick pedal (I have a Iron Cobra). I am looking at getting a new one, but have a budget of ~$100 for a new bass drum, which is posing to be a problem. So what would you guys recommend for a good kick pad/bass drum (whichever you want to call it), for my price point? I am willing to go a bit above that, but would prefer to be below.

Thanks.

I don't know what it will cost you but I think it's worth saving for the silicone Yamaha one, it feels better than the top Roland and close enough to a real drum if a little bouncy. I can't speak for many others but the cheaper Yamaha one doesn't offer enough rebound and the alesis seems to have trigger failure (happened to a friend + others I've read about online).

Just an FYI..Yamaha doesn't make a TCS (i.e., silicone) kick pad (yet)..the KP125W has a canvas mesh type head on it with foam underneath the head...

My bad.

Just had a google and you're right, I mean the Yamaha KP125W.

The affordable Yamaha KP65 is described as being wide enough for a double pedal such as an Iron Cobra. It is five inches wide. If your two beaters are an inch apart they should have room.

Of course you did not say if your kit and module were Yamaha. If it is Roland you should probably not mix the brands.

I've read/heard the KP65 has issues registering fast rolls. Can anyone confirm/deny this?

Edit:
For anyone wondering: I am using a cheap Simmons SD5K kit right now (a reference for the drum brain).

Take a look at the hart hammer kick, it's cheap as chips and out performs the Roland KD-8. It is big enough for the double pedals too.
