very nicely done Tom

I had been thinking about how the "your playing" section needed some brush vids and was going to make one.

I'm glad you went ahead and did so

beautiful technique and sound

I have always felt that brush playing is much more deeply personal as far as patterns, technique, and sound than any other aspect of drumming

yours my friend is beautiful and graceful

Matt "Bo" Eder is another guy around here who has killer brush technique

Thanks guys! Gvdadrumasum, thank you and I agree totally agree. My brush technique developed basically from having to play them on a weekly jazz gig a few years ago. After doing that gig, I realized how beautiful and personal playing brushes can be. I checked out alot of recordings and books (Peter Erskine, Jeff Hamilton, Ed Thigpen, Paul Motian, John Riley), which of course helped a lot, but I think having to play in a musical situation with brushes was where I developed my own voice with them. I really like the Florian Alexandru Zorn videos too. Hes doing some great stuff! Thanks again and look forward to seeing/hearing more from you. Love your videos!

Tbone I saw Florian at a clinic here in Florida and the guy is amazing. I was mesmerized at what he could do with brushes. If you get a chance....Go
