My recently purchased Ludwig Classic Maple set...

I made a post about these Ludwig Classic Maples I got off eBay for a very fair price a short while back, but I haven't spent that much time with them yet. I put clear Remo Emporers on the tom batters and an Aquarian Super Kick II on the bass drum.

The bass drum is 18x20", the snare drum is 5"x14", and the toms are 10, 12, 14, and 16.

I'm not very good at improvising to make a demo or anything, so don't get any hopes up that my playing is killer. Just wanted to share the tones.

Thanks man. I wish I knew what to do with all of those toms! LOL... Drums have only been my primary instrument for a little under 2 years now. I've spent a very long time on guitar and bass.

Anyway, I'm finding that I like focusing most of my attention on being "solid" in the bass, snare, hat, and ride area. I'm just not using toms hardly at all. I don't even set them up anymore on the small kit I use with my band.

I think that's annoying them a little bit... ha ha

I meant just to hear them more in the sound test

they sounded really good....would have loved to hear you just hit each one in maybe straight eighth notes just to hear them
