Default Back Pain

I drive a cab for my day job as is. I sit alot in my cab which causes my low back to hurt (I recently injuried my back somehow).

Could anybody recommend something I could put on my cab seat to sit on to help alleviate my pain?

Just to say, I hope to start physical therapy soon.

You might want to check my thread about back pain...

I kow there's some type of ergonomic cushion's profiled and adjustable for back sufferer, you might want to check them out, you should be able to find some in good car's accessories shops.

As a back suffer myself, I took great care of adjusting my car seat.

lumbar support seat cover.i know a good stretch that helps my back you lie on your back, knees up like a sit up spread your shoulder blades so your spin is more on the floor then raise your pelvis slowly till your resting on your shoulders, then lower your pelvis slowly, and try to go one vertebra at a time. do it like a stretch not a repetition a few times and it will realign your spine and pelvis.

Thank you guys for your posts. I'm looking for a good car seat support for my lower back. As is I'm getting pain in my lower back going down into my butt and left leg after I've driven for awhile.

Physical therapy did wonders for me. Just learning how to have proper posture while doing the day's various activities makes a hugeeeeee difference
