Default Roberto Spizzichino drumkit

Roberto Spizzichino(past away last year) is most known for his custom made cymbals but i think that he made drumkits made made of metal-materials. I gues that he just did jazz sizes or could this drums be interesting for a hard-rock drummer? Will Spizzichinos drums be more pricey now when he is not alive?
Have a nice day/Marthy

Yes, they were copper.
Yes, they are quite loud and suitable for rock. Think of the loudness of Ludwig stainless steel shells, but with more warmth.
Yes, they are quite expensive, since they are VERY rare, and even more so now that's he's passed.

Wow those cymbals sound fantastic. Seems like a really great person, it's a shame that he's passed and I'm just now hearing about him.

Thank you for the links.

I'm fortunate to have 3 of his cymbals. I have seen the prices sky rocket since his passing for both his cymbals and drums.

Whoever has any of the things that he made, you are indeed fortunate. He was a true craftsman and his work is definately not overated.I had a chance to pick up one of his cymbals a few years ago,and missed out by just a few dollars.Never again.

Does anyone know how much his cymbals and drumkit costs nowdays? He only did small size drum kits, bass drum 18 inch etc right? Cool witch copper drums, it sounds pricy. Only know of one other copper-shelled kit, made by Asba(french vintage label).

Search ebay. There's one of his kits on their now for $25k. His cymbals typically sell in the $1500 - $2000 range like old K's.
