Im considering buy a pack of Attack drum heads http://www.musiciansfriend.com/drums...pack-drumheads Amd was wondering , if I Remo Ambassadors as Reso heads on my toms, would it be better to put them as batter, and put the Attack heads as resos? thanks, - Josh |

I've never heard of those before. A four pack for $25? I wouldn't buy those without first hand experience if I were you, you get what you pay for.
But as for your question, I use clear ambassadors as resos on my stage custom, work fine.

Go ahead, give a try... keep the experiment in achieving the sound - You want!
I use Remo Ambassador (Smooth White) on the batter sides and snare resonant. Evans G1 clear on the tom-tom resonant, Evans G1 coated on the floor tom resonant. It works perfect, love the sound!

I have experimented with all of those single-ply heads including Aquarian clear snare side, Evans G1 clear, Stock heads... I have finally achieved that head configuration (the cool one mentioned previously). :´)
