Default Not sure what to use!

I'm using Gretsch Catalina Club Rock Drums (24, 14, 13, 16, 18) and Sabian cymbals. I play rock such as Them Crooked Vultures, Foo Fighters, Queens Of The Stone Age, Led Zeppelin etc.

I would like to add some percussion into my kit but can't decide what would be the best. Tambourine, jam block, cowbell, bongos, timbale, wood block etc.

Any recommendations?

According to the influences you mentioned, I'd say a cowbell is compulsory :)

I use a small cowbell, a large cowbell, a drumset mounted tambourine and a splash. (I consider the splash to be an accessory) With those 4 different voices, I can cover most anything that I encounter. The woodblock/jamblock sound can be had with a rimclick or hitting the side of the drum. Timbale tone can be had by the snare drum w/ the snares off, bongos....I can get by without a bongo tone.

A large f****ing cowbell seems like the right thing for you mate! :)
Though, I really think you should go to a shop and try out a couple of percussion instrument.
Maybe you like something else better than a cowbell.

Cheers!
