Which out of the following is the best percussion add-on to a drum kit for rock?

Tambourine
Cowbell
Jam Block
Wood Block
Bongos

I have:

Tambourine
Ching-a-ring
Cowbell
Maracas
Triangle
Cabassa
Egyptian dumbek

For anything else, I have a few pads with a Yamaha TD-3 for other percussion effects, like bongos, timbales, clavés, etc

These are 'as needed' add-ons.


If you're looking for something new for fun/inspiration, and you haven't already got one, an FX cymbal will grant you more usage possibilities.

If you already have one, add a different one. You'll play it/them more than the above.
