Can anyone help me with this time signature?
I`m seriously digging into Jojo Mayer`s playing and found this tune. It`s really crazy and i always wanted to transcribe it and play it myself but never got the time, so maybe some of you guys can help me out. To me, it sounds like a x/4 with a lot of displaced beats, x being either 5 or 6. There`s some pretty sick stuff going on in there! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJAdIEjNJgQ

4/4 -- with the drums essentially "soloing" an ever varying beat.

4/4 chopped up and all over the place, might help you to count the eight notes.
