Default DTX Verson 2?

I've tried finding info on this kit online but I'm having trouble finding anything. Anyone know stuff about it?
I'd like to know if it is any good, and how old it is.

That's a pretty old kit..originally introduced back in the mid-to-late 90's…I had one of those kits back in 2001-2 timeframe…sold it for $400 back then…$700 is WAY overpriced...

Well, I had one of those!... I got it in 1998 I believe.

Now I have a TD9-K2.

I have to say it was a pretty good system... specially for the time... outdated pads and hihat trigger, by today standards, yes... but soundwise it had very good samples... in fact it had TWICE as many sounds as my NEW Roland kit... more songs (and better) preset songs and great percussion sounds.

Also other cool features like looping sounds, you could do a secuence on a pad, say kick, in which three or four different sounds would come in predetermined order, which made very interesting patterns and effects.

I sold mine in 2007 for 800 USD. NOT BAD AT ALL!... if you find one of these kits, it would be a good budget alternative to cheaper sets.

Hello, guys! I use this system even now, when lots of other updated models have appeared. But I got used to this one and do not want to change anything.
