shaker sticks

Does anyone know what kind of sticks this drummer is playing with to get the shaker sound?

If you do want a shaker sound, there is Rhythm Tech's StickBall (which I use as well)

This is a device that slips over a regular drumstick and gives a nice shaker sound while playing.

I've done this before too with great effect. A cheap maraca and duct tape shouldn't cost too much.
