how did you start drumming?I used to play trumpet, but I quit since I couldn't play any of the music I liked. My friend's younger brother got a Pulse jr. drum set. I started playing on it, and eventually got good after learning how to apply music theory to the drums. I convinced my parents to buy me a drum set, and me and my friend formed a band.

how did you start drumming? On a marching snare my dad got me when I was really young. A practise pad was my 'hihat' and the case of the snare was my bass drum.

how did you start drumming? I had a junior set when I was four but didn't actually learn how to play until I was nine. My dad showed me how to play a basic 8th note beat and I went from there.

how did you start drumming? Started picking out snare parts when i was really young, and parents got me lessons in third grade. Tim Alexander and later Neil Peart (my brother's a bassist and therefore a rush/primus FREAK man... ) really had a huge influence on me so far, mostly Herb.

how did you start drumming: My dads friend gave me his old kit he had in storage, i started dinkin around on it, took lessons for a couple months then really started getting myself goin and i had to catch up to the rest of my band who had been playing their instruments for awhile.

My first kit was a dolphin 3 piece, then a new pearl until now.....just got a 3003 Sonor!! loving it very much so far. very punchy kit, getting used to the 20 inch kick............
