I like the angles, looks like it's leaning in to hug you!

I've always been a fan on Yamahas, and black sparkle kits. This has won me over, beautiful :)
 
WAY cool. Love the finish and the lugs. Was this a custom order? What was the damage, if you don't mind me asking? I'm trying to price out a 3pc. kit and Yamaha makes great drums.

Thanks man, I love this kit!
As for price, I work in a music store so i got hooked up with a good price from Yamaha Australia. Au RRP is about $16,000.00 for the kit, snares, hardware & cymbals. I pay half.
 
just beautiful kit. i dig the rug & how you have it marked as well for the same set-up over & over.

Q: how do you like the new yamaha hi hat pedal (already own the strap version of the BD pedal & love it) ? looks like the HS 1200-something w/ the 2 legs ?

Thanks mate! Yeah the hi hat stand is the HS1200, it feels great. When i had my old Pearl Masters series, I had the H1000K. The HS1200 feels alot nicer imo. I would recommend it.
 
Wow, gorgeous kit, looks fun to play also.

The only odd thing I notice are the floor toms.. they're way too low in comparison to your snare, doesn't it bother you? I would raise them just a bit. :)

Anyway, beautiful kit, congrats.

Nuh, the floor toms are right where i want them. They just feel comfortable at that height.
