Roland td4 kx VS. Alesis DM10 Pro kit

TD-4...hands down. The DM10 is junk pure and simple. People have issues left and right with those kits. The studio version you might as well forget EVER playing with other musicians. The false triggering issues will drive you nuts. I can tell you 15-20 things that say stay away. I owned 2 of them and am not just bashing just to bash. The pads and cymbals are found on cheap OSP kits and feel terrible. Yes you can put mesh heads on, but it's not true mesh feel. It's just mesh on foam. You will be replacing the rim rubber after a few days of playing. The crosstalk is damn near impossible to get rid of without adding towels or rubber to isolate the pads. It's just a bad kit with really no upside. Save your hard earned money and look elsewhere. The TD-4 or DTX550 is a much better kit.

The TD-4 is a proven kit and will offer many years of enjoyment.
