Here's a photo collection of my new Agop 30th Anniversary set of cymbals. First set selected from the first ones in Canada from 10-30th 22" rides. 10-30th 20" rides and 10 pairs of the 14" 30th hats.

First up the new stamp logo. No ink on these pies.

Followed by front and back shots and a shot of the bottom of the completely hand shaped bell of the 30th 22" ride at 2455g.

Next up the same on the 20" 30th at 2045g.

Front and back shots are next on the 14" 30th hats at 620g top and 650g bottom

This is followed by upper and lower bell/bridge shots of the 22" and 20" rides.

Last are 2 shots of the straight on profiles of both the 22" and 20" 30th rides

Stan you are the man. Best selection of cymbals I have ever seen and growing. Nice looking group.

Nice, No Ink, I like that! That's the way that it should be.

Thanks GD and agreed Bob :}

Just couldn't resist spending my Vancouver 2010 funds from my Olympic project with the great drum ensemble Transe Expresse from France on these.

Money well spent and some truly amazing sounding pies... thanks Heartbeat Percussion!

I'm waiting for your garage sale.

And here is our Brother on snare.

Stan!!
Awesome new pies! Well, I just saw them on your myspace site. I listened to some sound samples of those at cymbalsonly. They`ve got a great wash, reminds me a bit of the dry complex rides.

PS: Nice photos of you playing. =) Oh and I`m about to get a nice, light 20" Turk flat ride...

Best,

Karl

Thanks Karl :}

The wash on these beauties heard in context is sublime. Combo of smooth and old Turkish "dirt" in one pie with a hard surface feel with a nice woody stick heard over the wash on top. They really tuned the high end nice on these I noticed. The hats are very splashy and quick and even at this very light weight for both 14" cymbals I found a pair with a decent foot "chic". Agop hit a home run with these 30ths......

Very cool on the light 20" Turk flat.....let us know more on that down the road.

P.S. If Transe Expresse ever comes to your town in Germany you've got to check them out Karl. These guys {and one lady} are really something else believe me. Great musicians and performers.

Extremely nice cymbals, Stan. I love the 30th Annv. hats--wonderfully thin!! No one makes these anymore--you have to go to 50's/60's era Zildjian to find hats of that weight. Another good move by Agop!

Thanks Robert and agreed :} You'll enjoy this clip of the 14" 30th hats I found 10 minutes ago then.

616g top and 651g bottom being pretty close to mine as a weight combo {620g top 650g bottom} and in overall sound and character. Nice!

Great stuff, really... I tried a few 30th when buying my 25th and they didn't really fit my sound, but damn, they're nice cymbals in their own right.
