Acoustic/Electronic Drums?

If anyone on here has done this conversion, do you have pics? Possibly threads explaining how to do so? I was just wondering if it were as easy as mesh heads, triggers and a module. I've been looking into doing this conversion with an old kit I have, and inspiration would be great!

I found this link on another forum while looking into something similar. This is probably the cleanest and most concise example of how to do it...

Aside from shells, you would need simple, cheap piezo's, 1/4 jacks, some cheap interior hardware for mounting foam cones or whatever you use as a buffer between the piezo and the head. And of course heads, and a module. But still, if you were meticulous like this guy, you could end up saving literally thousands!

Not to mention these look much better than typical edrums.
