Christmas has come and gone... what'd you get?

Got a 6.5x14 Geo Way Studio in Marine Pearl. Great woody sound and nice response. Having a bit of a problem with the snare tension knob backing up while playing, so I'm trying to figure that out... Otherwise, it's got the vintage vibe and a great sound!

wt strainer type do you have

The Zildjian K Custom, is a lovely cymbal, i know i have one, they sound so sweet and natural, your mate is a very lucky man / woman, seeing as you think the world of him / her to, i would think he / her would know it as well.

If not make sure you tell him / her the next time you see them.

Santa put a used Pearl Piccolo snare, a remanufactured computer for my drum room along with new Logitech computer speakers. But the really exciting find under the tree was a DW8002B double pedal....droool.

I'm looking to go find a better crash to replace my gawdawfull Sabian Xs20 with the cash money I got from the familia.

I just got back from music go round. I traded in my Horrible Sabian Xs20 Crash and my just not quite right Z series Hats for A Zildjians. I got an Armand 16" Medium Thin Crash ($119) and an Avedis 14" Rock Hat ($99!).

Got my George Way "Elkhart" copper 14x6.5...

That is one of the most beautiful snares I have ever seen! Classic and simple. Nice stuff. Bet it sounds as good as it looks.

Thanks...and yes it does sound frick'n killer...the only thing I am nervous about is changing the bottom head and being able to get the snares back on the right way. It has a very vintage throw-off as you might see and the cables are knotted right at the throw off holes...I cant for the life of me figure out how this was accomplished. Maybe loosen the snares the entire way and knot it as close a possible and then adjust the snare tension??? but keeping it even on both sides??...I am a little intimidated

Santa was nice this year...24" Paiste 2002 ride

Santa brought me a 16" HHX Ozone Crash, which I'm absolutley loving! I also got a Meinl Cajon which is gonna be great for those acoustic gigs. It's become a seccond chair in my room. I just throw some songs on and just start jamming along, haha.

Pretty modest year for me. I got a cowbell holder for my cowbell. It's one of those things I needed but never got around to buying. I got a new copy of Stick Control, to replace the old one that I lost. I also got Headhunters by Herbie Hancock, for inspiration.

I got a couple of Ludwig flat based stands, they work great. No more hauling around heavy duty stands it's pretty nice. My back is thankful to!
