If you don't mind me asking, are you really having a problem with your toes slipping into the chain or link? I really can't see how anyone would have this problem, but that may just be me

Hi Sjogras....I may be one of the few drummers who actually DO have a problem with my foot slipping forward into the chain...weird eh?

The factory standard toe guard on my pedal is more like a pimple, so I got a plastic milk bottle lid and wrapped some gaffer tape around the pedal and lid. It works really well.

The other thing I did is change my footwear from sneakers to skater shoes...problem solved

Sounds like you need to practice keeping your foot away from the chain. I had this problem when I first started. You have to work on just NOT doing it. It'll solve itself over time if you use correct technique.
