Water Chance

Evening all,

This is possibly the most trivial thing to ever to be posted on here.

Someone at work showed me a "Link Word" quiz as she couldnt get the last answer.

The link words are "Water" and "Chance". So just to clarify, you need to think of a word which can be after water, and before chance. The answer is 4 letters. All three words do not have to link.

For example if your link words are "Fight" and "Sandwich" the answer could be "Club".

My area manager at work is getting headaches and having nightmares over it (not really but she won't stop asking me if I have found an answer yet) so I thought I'd ask the forum here. There must be someone here with a mind for that sort of thing.

Thanks for trying,

Sorry for wasting your time :)

POOL! When you buy a lottery ticket you are taking a chance in a pool of ticket holders
Took me three mins! LOL

It has to make other words. Waterpool ? Poolchance?
Like fightclub and clubsandwich

OH! This changes everything! I never played this game before.

Open water and open chance?
fast water and fast chance
slow water and slow chance
high water and high chance Ding!!!!!! Winer!!!
10 mins
Pool water and pool chance also works by the way. One could say, "Do you want to buy a Pool Chance?" when speaking of football gambling! Of corse Pool Water! Ding!!! Winer!!!
Grunt, You owe me a snare drum for that one! LOL

Bob the missing word has to go after the first word and before the second word.

Water_______ and ________chance

Oh Don't get technical!
Im just kidding by the way in case you didn't realize!

That's a noodle scratcher. The best I can come up with is 'main', although 'main chance' seems unlikely.

Should this be approached literally or cryptically?

Water spot and spot chance? They may say spot chance somewhere in the world?
Yanks Spot Chance to win series. News headline

Water mark and Mark Chance. I went to school with Mark. I dated his sister for a while.

Water Foil and Foil Chance.
A water foil is a type of a boat. Yanks foil chance of winning.

Water Foul and Foul Chance.
Water foul = ducks in water

Jonescrusher - I think its literal. The other examples in the same quiz were.

Bobdadruma - you crack me up. :)

Water remote chance we have of finding an answer.

I think that someone put a wrong word in the puzzle by mistake. It must be an error.
Plus there are only so many four letter words that you can say on DW!

That's what makes it easier, the fact that the missing word has only four letters. "Main" works because it has only four letters and it makes sense with both water and chance.

Google "water main" and "main chance." It works.

Anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! It's my final answer, and I still have all my life-lines!

Will we be notified of the correct answer when it's revealed?

I think 'spot' works too, no? You can have a 'spot chance,' can't you?
